Timers Two models are available and both use wire-free gates. They are powered by internal rechargeable batteries and can be connected to an external 12 volt battery or a mains supply. C720 timer This was designed to be a cost effective, easy to use timer for Show Jumping. It is ideal for club use. A 45 second countdown timer is included and it can time two-phase competitions. An electronic bell (for connection to a public address system) is built-in. click for larger image C840 timer (undergoing re-design) This is an advanced timer providing a wide range of features, including countdown timer, two-phase timing and results calculation. It can time a range of sporting events besides Show Jumping. See the specifications for full details. click for larger image Gates Timing sets are normally supplied with 2 gates (ie. 4 tripods) for the start and finish lines. For two-phase competitions three gates are normally required. The design of the infra-red optical system makes our eg heads particularly easy to set up. K531 wire-free gate This head uses radio rather than cable to connect to the timer. With two channels, two rings can be used side by side. The head is powered by internal rechargeable batteries which give over 24 hours continuous use between charges. The range of the radio signal is 200 metres (line of sight). The maximum distance between head and reflector is 30 metres. Legal for use in Europe without a site licence. click for larger image Displays Displays are supplied with a 10 metre connecting cable - this can be extended as required. Several displays may be connected to one timer to improve coverage. An external 12 volt car battery or mains adapter is required to power the displays. D504 led display click for larger image This display has 4" high red illuminated numbers. NOTE - no lid is supplied with this display. D504 - Size: 530mm x 160mm x 31mm. Weight 2.1kg D505 led display click for larger image This displays has 5" high red illuminated numbers, easily viewable at 50 metres. The brightness can be altered for indoor or outdoor conditions. Weight 6.5kg D510 and D610 flap displays click for larger image These displays show fluorescent yellow numbers making them attractive and highly visible even in bright sunlight. The digits are 10" high, easily viewable at 100 metres. The D610 can show time to one thousandth of a second when used with the C840 timer. The case is of welded steel making it very weather resistant, with a steel lid for protection during transportation. Mounting brackets are provided. D510 - Size:1300mm x 350mm x 100mm. Weight 25kg D610 - Size:1530mm x 350mm x 100mm. Weight 30kg Accessories K30 Marathon timer / Clock. Can be used to show marathon timing, the time of day, or countdown timing on a normal public display. It is powered from the display but contains a rechargeable battery to retain timekeeping when it is not connected. When switched to marathon mode it will time in seconds up to 9 hours. There are start, stop and zero buttons, and it is possible to set the time in order to synchronise with other clocks. When switched to clock mode you can select 12 or 24 hour display. You can also select whether to shuttle between time and temperature or display the time continuously. K60 Remote Start/Stop/Bell buttons. D60 Remote Start/Stop/Bell buttons with lcd display.
